the sheets were far too small for the bed, which was absolutely unacceptable. also, the shower cabin just wouldn't drain properly, leaving a lovely little pool of water. shockingly, no one offered me a complimentary extra towel for my inconvenience. i almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t, given these critical oversights.

Parking is a bit of a circus. unless you get there early, you might find yourself a few streets away, which isn’t ideal after a long day of skiing. Heating in the rooms can go from cozy to sauna real quick, especially during a heatwave. Housekeeping services seem hit or miss. you might get fresh towels, but don’t expect a thorough clean every day. The occasional funny odor in the hallways adds a note of intrigue, but not the good kind. And if you’re planning to unwind in the spa, just know the sauna might not be in peak condition. for the price, it fits the bill, but it definitely shows signs of needing a refresh.

Just stayed at Hotel Iceberg Bansko for 6 nights and had an amazing time! The pool is like stepping into a warm bath, perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a great selection ranging from hot dishes to fresh pastries. Plus, the free shuttle service to the gondola made getting to the slopes super easy.
